Who we are
We are a small but highly motivated team located at the German development agency GIZ in Berlin.
“We support you through your CSRD reporting.” That’s our mission and our promise.
Since February 2024 we have been working on updating the German Sustainability Code (DNK) – taking it from the previous reporting standard to a comprehensive range of support services for companies dealing with sustainability reporting. Together with our partners and service providers, we have developed the DNK Platform, compiled the DNK Checklists and set up the DNK Sustainability Campus with its many and varied offerings. We regularly organise webinars and in-person events. And we are in close contact with mandatorily and voluntarily reporting companies, industry bodies, professional associations and political stakeholders.
If you have a request that is not covered by any of the links under Contact, please feel free to contact us directly.
Unser Team:
Report Concept & VSME Check
Our team deals with all content aspects of the DNK Platform. We develop the checklists for the modules, in which we formulate the CSRD requirements in step with actual practice – for both mandatory and voluntary reports. A key principle of ours is to involve stakeholders. We also coordinate the check for formal completeness for the VSME module.
DNK Sustainability Campus
The DNK Sustainability Campus brings together all Sustainability Code (DNK) services around sustainability reporting. Whether you’re just embarking on your first sustainability report or you already have some experience under your belt – we’ll meet you where you are. Our practical support accompanies you step by step through your sustainability reporting.
Fundamentals of Sustainability
The Fundamentals team combines ESG expertise, political processes and practical knowledge around sustainability. As an internal think tank, we analyse trends in sustainability policy in Germany, the EU and beyond. We lend our expertise to the ongoing development of the Sustainability Code and help drive the transformation – acting as an interface between politics and business, with a focus on SMEs.
