New in 2025: Free support for CSRD-compliant sustainability reporting
To support companies in sustainability reporting and the implementation of the CSRD, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of Germany (BMWK) has been funding the further development of the Sustainability Code (DNK) since 2024. Instead of the previous reporting standard, we now offer a free, comprehensive support program that significantly reduces the time and effort required for sustainability reporting. This includes our Sustainability Campus, the DNK Checklist and the DNK Platform.
The DNK Platform enables companies to create their sustainability reports digitally and guides them step by step through the reporting process. It is currently available as an early access version. To ensure maximum user-friendliness, we are continuously improving it — also considering potential changes to the CSRD due to the EU Omnibus Simplification Package.
Our offering follows a modular approach: The first module is designed for companies subject to mandatory reporting. A second module for voluntarily reporting companies will be introduced after the EU Commission has finalized the VSME standard. This VSME module will be specifically tailored to the needs of SMEs.
Your key benefits:
- Free of charge: Create your report digitally on a user-friendly web platform with helpful application tools.
- Easy to understand: Benefit from our translation of the complex ESRS reporting requirements into clearer language and structure.
- Service-oriented: Our helpdesk is there to support you with a wide range of information and training services.
- Tailored to your needs: Our many years of experience and close exchange with stakeholders have enabled us to develop a tool that is specifically tailored to the needs of SMEs.
